At Sittu Praxis, our approach is shaped by two complementary traditions: Sittu (思途), drawing from Eastern thought, as a mindful, patient path of reflection, and Praxis (πρᾶξις), rooted in Greek philosophy as purposeful, real-world action.
Bridging East and West, we believe sound judgment requires both quiet discipline and practical execution. We avoid chasing noise or following a crowd mentality, anchoring our decisions strictly in first principles and logic. We are comfortable being patient when the situation calls for it, and decisive when the time comes to act. Based in Toronto, our focus is simple: think carefully, execute cleanly, and let steady, sensible work speak for itself.
ABOUT US
The team behind Sittu Praxis brings over three decades of firsthand experience building, scaling, and operating market-defining financial technology and brokerage companies—starting in the 1990s with pioneering work at Belzberg Technologies, through to founding BBS Securities and Virtual Brokers, both later acquired by CI Financial. Today, Sittu Praxis operates as a holding company. Among our core holdings is Sittu Capital, our dedicated trading arm launched in 2023. Guided by disciplined execution and strict risk management, Sittu Capital generated strong performance, distributing accumulated profits to shareholders in 2026 as it prepares for its transition to the public market. Across our trading operations and broader commercial holdings, we remain anchored in the same patient, logic-driven approach that has guided our careers from the beginning.
